Sealing tip: Apply the special winding technique using Blue Monster PTFE Thread Tape inside the threaded grooves. This method ensures a reliable, tight and durable water seal.
Specifications for pipe types
To estimate maximum flow rate at various pressures (40–70 PSI), we use the Hazen-Williams equation, which estimates flow in gallons per minute (GPM) for various pipe sizes and materials.
Bypass valve: how to shut off or service your E3 tank
The green handles on your Enpress Pioneer ONE tank control whether water flows through the filter or bypasses it. Use this guide to turn the arrows for proper flow, isolate the tank for a filter change, or shut off water to the whole system.
Normal operation (filtering)
Both green handles vertical (pointing up and down, in line with the pipes). Water flows through the tank and is filtered before reaching your home. This is the default everyday setting.
Bypass operation
Both green handles horizontal (pointing sideways, toward each other). Water skips the tank entirely and flows straight to the house. Use this when changing a filter or servicing the tank so you keep water running.
Diagnostic mode
Left handle horizontal, right handle vertical. Water enters the tank for testing while still supplying the house. Enpress technicians use this to check flow or diagnose a fault.
Shut off mode
Left handle vertical, right handle horizontal. Blocks all water to the house and the tank. Use this only when you need to stop flow completely, such as during a leak or a full service.
Quick rule: handles in line with the pipe = water flows through. Handles across the pipe = water is blocked or diverted. Never force a handle; if it will not turn, shut off the main supply first.
