Please note: The Flow-Tech MAX Anti-Scale System relies on a return path to ground to work effectively. The initial grounding source is obtained through a properly grounded electrical outlet. The return path is most typically obtained through a conductive metal path to a grounded water heater. In the event that neither of these options are achievable, ground can be reached via a properly grounded gas line or properly grounded plumbing system.
