The AntiScale TAC filter is a unique and high-capacity scale reduction cartridge that runs in upflow service inside a E3 tank. It is designed to reduce the harmful effects of hardness and scale formation, which can negatively affect the life and performance of appliances, shower and sink faucets, and many other household items. It also reduces the effects of scale buildup on glass and many other surface types.

TAC Media utilizes atomic-level templates on the surface of small, specially treated polymer spheres to transform dissolved calcium carbonate (CaCO3) into a crystalline form. The crystals are relatively insoluble, effectively isolating the CaCO3 from the water chemistry and anything the water contacts.

The White Series design outer tank incorporates patented Vortech full distributor plate technology, which provides uniform distribution and utilization of the media bed along with maximum efficiency and service flow rates.

Each filter tank comes with a unique handle design for lightweight and easy removal, a bag for proper disposal, and a double o-ring connection into the E3 Tanks plumbing adapter.
