Tradewinds is a US-based water health company offering complete, whole-home water treatment and filtration systems for residential homes, both municipal and private well.

Why it matters now
In April 2024, the EPA finalized the first-ever federal limits on PFAS in drinking water. Water utilities have years to comply, which means millions of Americans are still drinking water that exceeds the new federal standard, legally.
Municipal treatment plants were not designed to remove PFAS. They were built for bacteria and sediment. The responsibility for PFAS removal, microplastics, lead and chloramine increasingly falls on the homeowner.
