A 0.35-micron pleated sediment cartridge in a 20-inch Big Blue housing, installed ahead of the system. It takes the sediment load before it reaches the carbon block; its own cartridge is replaced separately from the main carbon block. Choose it on the product page.

How it works

Set it on the main line. Change one cartridge when the meter says so.

Water enters the tank

Installed where water enters the home, with 1-inch NPT connections. No drain line, no electricity, no salt — the whole system is one cartridge tank.

The 0.5-micron block filters

Both particulate and soluble lead, plus PFOA/PFOS and cysts, are reduced as water passes through the carbon block — at a pressure drop low enough to forget it's there.

The meter tells you when

The E3-M meter tracks actual gallons used. Green means go, yellow means order a cartridge, red means swap it — a one-minute, no-tools change.

We sell direct. No distributor margin, no contractor markup, no quote required — the price is on the page.
Do I need a sediment prefilter?
If your water carries visible sediment or silt, a prefilter keeps it off the carbon block — add the $199 Big Blue option at checkout, or see the two-stage system for the full-size prefilter configuration.
Can I install it myself?
A licensed plumber is recommended. Installation is a standard main-line cut-in with 1-inch NPT connections — typically a few hours.
How often do I change the cartridge?
The meter tracks actual gallons and shows yellow, then red, when it's time. Most families replace roughly once a year at typical use.
Is this the same filtration class as systems sold through plumbers?
The certified 0.5-micron carbon-block platform is the industry standard for whole-house lead and PFAS reduction. The difference is how it's sold: we publish our price; the plumbing channel doesn't publish theirs.
What does the warranty cover?
