The PFAS DEFENDER pairs the PIONEER ONE E3-M metered tank with the PIONEER CT-05-CB-AMCYL 0.5-micron carbon-block cartridge — a single-tank, zero-backwash whole-house system built around one of the most independently certified filtration cartridges available.
What makes it different: direct pricing. Whole-house filtration of this class is normally sold only through plumbing contractors at unpublished prices. We publish ours: $1,489, shipped free.
The cartridge
The CT-05-CB-AMCYL carbon block is engineered at a 0.5-micron nominal level to reduce both particulate and soluble lead, plus PFOA/PFOS and cysts — with high dirt-holding capacity and exceptionally low pressure drop. IAPMO R&T tested and certified to NSF/ANSI 53 (lead, cyst) and NSF/ANSI P473 (PFOA/PFOS).
The tank
The ONE E3-M metered delivery tank tracks actual gallons used and shows green/yellow/red status at a glance — so you replace the cartridge on real usage, not guesswork. Built-in bypass makes cartridge changes a no-tools, shut-off-free swap.
Zero backwash. No drain. No electricity. No salt. Install it on the main line where water enters the home and change one cartridge when the meter says so.
