Ozone is a tri-atomic oxygen (O3) which has high oxidation capabilities. It is produced from air and high voltage electricity, think lightning. Ozone is the most effective and rapidly acting primary disinfectant (media bed) available for drinking water treatment. Along with disinfection, the use of ozone for drinking water treatment has many other benefits such as improved taste and color removal, iron and manganese removal. Ozone’s high oxidation potential gives it excellent germicidal properties. Ozone is 52% stronger than chlorine, and will oxidize much more rapidly without the use of harsh chemicals.
The Enhanced Oxidation Generator (EOG) from OZOTECH is easy to install and leverages the power of natural ozone technology to improve water quality without the use of chemicals. With minimal maintenance costs, the EOG helps to keep the NWTS Filter Control head clean, extending filter life and saving you money.
The EOG Unit is pre-wired and installed on AIO System, the compact EOG mounts directly onto the control valve. The system includes the patented stainless steel Ozotech CD cell and features an all-weather enclosure.
DO NOT install the EOG unit on any system using Birm® filter media. Ozone will strip the properties from the media rendering it useless.
The Ozone Field Kit features the Integrated EOG Ozone Generator installed on the NWTS-AIO System. This EOG uses a single source 14VDC transformer to power the EOG and the control valve with an easy to install Interconnect Wire. The interconnect wire features a barrel style plug to insert into the Ozone unit and the same style fitting as the OEM power supply to plug directly into the control board of the valve. Also included in the kit is an Ozone compatible Check Valve and Installation Manual.
This kit is to retrofit NWTS systems already in field service.
